Brinkman Construction has begun work on renovating a former office building into downtown’s newest tap house. Located at 307 South College Street, Tap & Handle will be open for business in mid-January of 2012. This marks Brinkman’s 20th project in the downtown area of Fort Collins in the past three years.

The 2,596 SF space is being transformed to create a neighborhood American pub feel. The interior design centers on a welcoming layout including exposed ceilings and walls and a custom bar crafted from reclaimed wood. The tap house will feature 74 specialty beers on draft, ranging from local and U.S. micro-brews to inspiring classics from around the world. In addition to beer, wine and cider will also be served. A full kitchen, billiards room, and beer garden will offer patrons a variety of casual dining options as they choose meals or appetizers to accompany their favorite brew.

Owner Jeff Willis is excited to bring this cozy atmosphere to Fort Collins while exposing the city’s sizeable beer-loving population to a variety of styles and labels to suit each palate. As someone with a strong appreciation for Fort Collins and a long history in the restaurant and bar industry, Mr. Willis says Tap & Handle will incorporate regional products while allowing locals to experience some of the best beers worldwide.
