Brinkman Construction has completed construction on the Firehouse Xpress Carwash and it is now open for business. This full-service tunnel carwash is located just south of Fort Collins High School at 3500 South Timberline Road, at Horsetooth Road and Timberline Road.

Owners Jim Houck and Doug Lee, current firefighters for the Poudre Fire Authority, had a very distinct vision for the design of the carwash that Brinkman brought to life. The structure reflects the appearance of a fire station. With a stucco and brick veneer exterior finish and red brick tower, the carwash is eye-catching to traffic passing by the heavy-traveled intersection. With construction completed in just over 4 months, the grand opening was able to fall on the weekend of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 – a special way for the owners to further honor their civic profession.

“Our goal for Firehouse Xpress is to provide the best carwash experience possible. We offer the newest, most technologically advanced car cleaning equipment and are confident that this is the highest-quality carwash in Fort Collins,” says Houck.

In addition to the tunnel carwash, Firehouse includes 14 complimentary vacuum stations, a water reclaim system and extensive entry improvements. Carwashes range from the “Rookie” to the “Chief” and start at as low as $4.
